ACLU-CONNECTICUT TO CHALLENGE STATES PLANS TO
RESTICT FREE SPEECH OF PROTESTORS NIGHT OF ROSS EXECUTION IN COURT
The ACLU of Connecticut today will hold
a press conference to announce it represents a variety of Plaintiffs, including
Murder Victims Families for Human Rights, Amnesty International and the
Connecticut Network to Abolish the Death Penalty, in a law suit to be filed
today against state and local officials challenging the restrictions DOC, the
State Police and the Town of Enfield have proposed placing on protestors
planning to demonstrate near the Osborn Correction Facility the night of the
Michael Ross execution.
